Aims and objectives:

It is planned to carry out joint meeting of the Expert Councils on theme: “Prospects of training employees for the tourism in Uzbekistan” within the framework of Business Forum of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the meeting it will be discussed following issues: development of tourism and improving the systems of preparing and training qualifications of employees for private sector.

The organizers of this meeting are NC “Uzbektourism”, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and UNDP Project “Business Forum of Uzbekistan”. During the meeting it will be participating representatives of the Ministry of foreign economic relations, investments and trade, NC “Uzbektourism”, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, public organizations, scientific-research and higher educational establishment, international development organizations and managers of private tourism companies.

During the meeting there will be presentation on development perspectives of tourism industry in the aspect of supplying with employees. Also, there will be discussed issues of creating image of Uzbekistan as a country of cultural tourism by studying the experience of the Centre of developing business and tourism of Khiva. Besides, the participants will have an opportunity to exchange opinions on problematic issues with the representatives of participating organizations, enterprises and agencies along with discussing further activities directed at assisting in sustainable development of tourism industry in Uzbekistan.
