In frame of EC on: Improving fiscal policy

Aims and objectives: on April 26, 2007 in the conference hall of “Grand orzu ” hotel took place the meeting of the expert council business forum Chamber of commerce and industry of the republic of Uzbekistan conjointly with UNDP project “State finance in Reform Uzbekistan” and “Business Forum of Uzbekistan”. In the meeting participated representatives of the Ministry of finance, State tax committee, department of justice, Chamber of commerce and industry, r social institutions representatives, think-tank institutes, independent experts of taxation area and tax administration in the area of taxation and tax administration.

Questions: During the meeting were discussed issues of tax consultation in legal system of Uzbekistan, importance of tax consultant profession, activity of social institutions for formation and development of professional tax consultations, organizing the system of preparing, rising qualification and certification of tax consultants. Special attention was courted to overall scrutiny and discussion of basic directions of the activity on realization the Law of the republic of Uzbekistan “About tax administration’. According to the meeting results, there were offered practical recommendations on legislative control of the tax consultant’s institute status and different aspects of its professional activity.
