In frame of EC on: Financial-banking sector development

Aims and objectives: On April 20, 2007 in the center for economic research was discussed issue of “Money transfers impact on the economy of Uzbekistan”. Activity was conducted under the aegis BF EC on financial banking sector development. On the business forum participated key banks of Uzbekistan representatives, where were discussed issue of support for effective development of the money transfer sphere. As it is well known the area of money transfer keeps one of the important niches in the portfolio of commercial bank’s services. Besides banks such services also rendered by such specialized systems as Аnelik, Western Union.

Questions: Due to business forum results to participants were offered detailed discussion of the given issue with involvement of above mentioned specialized institutions representatives, occupied in that sphere of money transfer services rendering.
